According to wikipedia.com, the highest temperature ever recorded in Arizona was 128 degrees Fahrenheit, at Lake Havasu City on June 29, 1994.
The lowest temperature ever recorded in Arizona was -40 degrees Fahrenheit, at Hawley Lake on January 7, 1971.
Converting to Celsius, I can se this is pretty high and pretty low. I think we can match the low, but not the high >:)

My brother lived in Arizona for many years. I know the climate differences between Phoenix and Flagstaff could be tremendous. Thank you for the interesting information.

ReplyDeleteI once experienced 124 degrees at Chichen Itza in Mexico. Thought I was going to die. I don't know how people live in hot climates.
