Most Extreme State? - Arizona Trivia Tuesdays

It will have to be a quick fact this week. I'm out of town for a couple days, and this wireless internet connection is iffy at best. Lasts about 3 minutes, tops, before it times out....

According to wikipedia.com, the highest temperature ever recorded in Arizona was 128 degrees Fahrenheit, at Lake Havasu City on June 29, 1994.

The lowest temperature ever recorded in Arizona was -40 degrees Fahrenheit, at Hawley Lake on January 7, 1971.

My brother lived in Arizona for many years. I know the climate differences between Phoenix and Flagstaff could be tremendous. Thank you for the interesting information.

Love,
Janie

I once experienced 124 degrees at Chichen Itza in Mexico. Thought I was going to die. I don't know how people live in hot climates.
